A new project has been initiated in partnership with Deep Creek Landcare Group to investigate hollow cavity preferences of phascogales. This project uses chainsaw hollows installed across the landscape. Phascogales were recorded using the cavities within days after construction. These chainsaw hollows used a new design which integrates a variety of different methods. Funding for this project was provided by the Australian Federal Government.
